Shipaton 2025 - Day 11 - Lesson Screen Progress
Day 11 of my Shipaton 2025 journey brings the Lesson screen to life: created the first learning card, loaded it with initial data, and began delivering real content. This marks the start of the app’s tangible learning experience.

What I Built Today
Today was about breathing life into the learning space - turning the empty Learn shell into a screen that actually teaches something.
✔️ I created the first learning card and loaded it with real, initial lesson data.
✔️ The Lesson screen now displays meaningful content, marking the start of the actual teaching flow.
✔️ This is the first time the app feels like it’s delivering value to the learner, not just guiding them through flows.
🎯 The big win: The Lesson screen now has tangible, educational content ready for iteration.
Why the Lesson Screen Matters
✅ Real knowledge delivery: Until now, every screen was about setup. This is the first time the user sees the reason the app exists.
✅ Foundation for growth: The card-based approach makes it easy to add more lessons, media, and interactions later.
✅ Clear progression point: Having a fully functional Lesson screen means I can now focus on refining how content is presented and consumed.
Learning Flow Levels Up
Having an actual card with lesson data changes the feel of the app instantly. The jump from Home → Learn → Lesson now feels purposeful - you’re not just navigating, you’re beginning to learn.
Why this helps:
✅ Motivation boost: Users encounter real lesson content early, setting the tone for future sessions.
✅ Iterate smarter: I can test lesson presentation and pacing with actual data, not placeholders.
✅ Scalable design: The card approach means I can insert richer interactions (audio and images) later without reworking the core flow.
Conclusion
The Lesson screen is no longer a placeholder - it’s the first true step into the learning journey. From here, it’s about expanding that foundation: more cards, richer content, and smarter presentation. The journey just became real.
